30-Day Spring Cleaning Calendar

If you feel overwhelmed by the task of deep cleaning your entire house, we have a suggestion; make a calendar and schedule different tasks for different days. If you break up the responsibility of cleaning the whole house into smaller bits, your home will be sparkling clean in no time. Here is a simple 30-day plan adapted from PopSugar to help you accomplish your spring cleaning with less stress.

brushDays 1 through 8 ~ The Kitchen

  • Clean microwave and oven
  • Clean dishwasher and appliances
  • Wipe down pantry
  • Clean refrigerator and freezer
  • Organize pantry, fridge and freezer, and toss expired food
  • Clean kitchen sink and under sink
  • Wipe down walls, wash blinds/curtains over kitchen window(s), and wash garbage can
  • Clean stove top, kitchen surface areas, and floor

dustpanDays 9 through 12 ~ The Bathroom

  • Clean medicine cabinet and storage closet
  • Organize drawers and declutter; toss or donate unused items
  • Scrub shower, tub, and walls; wash shower curtain
  • Clean toilet, bathroom surface areas, mirror, and floor

spongeDays 13 through 17 ~ The Bedroom
