Modern day trick or treating has been around for almost 100 years. Woah! The term was coined near 1927 and steadily grew in popularity throughout the 40s. Today its an event children look forward to for months. Dressing up in your favorite costume, trotting around the neighborhood and collecting free candy? What could be better?
