Halloween No-Bake Recipes for your Little Pumpkins

The treat bags are ready and the Halloween décor is out. Halloween is nearly here and it’s time for the little goblins in our lives to have a simply spooktacular time! Whether you want sweet treats for the classroom, a party, of just for fun, these Halloween no-bake recipes are ready for a hauntingly fun good time!

We love ideas that are fast and easy, but most of all, we love ideas that get kids in the kitchen, too. These fabulous ideas are so simple that kids can participate in the process as well as enjoy the end result.

Easy Pumpkin Pretzels

Another simple and simply adorable no-bake Halloween recipe is this one for Easy Pumpkin Pretzels from Butter With a Side of Bread.

Ingredients

  1. 1 bag mini pretzels
  2. 1 bag M&M’s candy, needing only the green ones
  3. Orange food coloring
  4. 1 bag white chocolate chips
  5. 1 TBS shortening, to thin chocolate

Directions

Add one TBS shortening to microwave safe bowl. Add chocolate and stir. Place in microwave and heat on low until starting to melt. Stir so the remaining pieces fully       melt. Stir in orange food coloring.

Dunk pretzels in the chocolate and lay them on a sheet of wax paper. While still wet, add a green candy on its side in the crook of the pretzel for a stem.

Let harden.

Remove from wax paper carefully and –ENJOY!

Puffed Rice Cereal Pumpkin Treat Surprise

We found this gem on the Rice Krispies website and love the new take on an old favorite.

Ingredients

  1. 3 Tablespoons butter or margarine
  2. 1 package (10 oz, about 40) JET-PUFFED Marshmallows OR 4 cups JET-PUFFED miniature marshmallows
  3. Orange Food Coloring
  4. 6 Cups Rice Krispies cereal
  5. 12 Milky Way Brand Minis or 3 Musketeers Brand Minis OR 6 Fun Size bars
  6. Canned frosting (green)
  7. 12 Small Green gum drops

Directions

Melt butter over low heat in a large saucepan or bowl. Add marshmallows, stirring until melted. Once melted, remove from heat and tint with orange food coloring.

Add cereal and mix until well coated.

Using ½ cup measuring cup coated with cooking spray (or your hands!), divide into 12 portions. Using butter or sprayed hands shape each portion into a pumpkin shape around the candy piece. Pipe frosting for vine and leaves, topping with gumdrop for stem.

One of the best things about these Halloween no-bake recipes, aside from the fact that they are deliciously creative is that clean-up is a breeze! Each of them uses minimal pans and utensils so once you wash up you helper’s sticky fingers, you are done and ready to enjoy your work.
