5 Holidays that Don’t Exist, but Should!

In the US, we have holidays for just about everything, all of them well-deserving of being in the spotlight. There are 5 holidays though, that don’t exist but really should!

National No Calorie Day

Wouldn’t it be nice to have a day where you could eat whatever you want and for that one day, it be calorie-free? For our diet conscious society a day of eating with reckless abandon without repercussions would be a well-deserved holiday.

International Random Acts of Kindness

Wouldn’t the world be a better place if we had a day where everyone performed one random act of kindness? We could buy each other coffee, mow the neighbor’s lawn, or fulfill some need for someone we do not even know.  People would like it so much that they might be inclined to make every day RAOK Day.

Be Kind Day

We all try to be kind but having a day dedicated to kindness can give us all a little extra incentive. Imagine a day of only positive posts on social media, kindness on freeways, and everyone putting the next person first. It is a day that might catch on!

National Old Movie Appreciation Day

There is a wealth of knowledge in old movies that not only deserves our attention, but it also deserves our celebration. It is time we have a day to break out the popcorn and devote the day to watching It’s a Wonderful Life, King Kong, Lawrence of Arabia, and On the Waterfront.

Take a Big Chance Day

Rather than looking back and wishing we had risked it all and done the hard thing, we should have a day that encourages us to take chances.  With Take a Big Chance Day, no idea would be left on the table and we would have no excuse not to try that thing we have always wanted to do.

Of course, with all of these new holidays, we would need to create some new cards to go with them. Don’t worry though; Current would be ahead of the game with amazing holiday cards to brighten the day.
